FGF welcomes Khalil Saadiq as our Pastry Chef. Khalil has been in the bakery for the past year and was promoted to the Pastry Chef position earlier this year. Khalil has many years of cooking experience on the hot side as well as prior pastry experience and now brings his talents and focus to our bakery. Khalil will keep up with what has made Food Glorious Food so popular–Key Lime Pound Cake, Baklava Cheesecake and Miss Edna’s cake, in addition to what many have grown to love recently--fresh baked breads, including our Onion Rolls, Flat Bread, and Foccia. Khalil also specializes in creative cheesecakes variations, muffins and Brioche for French Toast. Khalil intends to incorporate new delicacies such as homemade ice creams, sorbets, sugar-free and vegan desserts as well.
